Um… just go to the Home Depot website and check the balance there. It’s not hard! Type in the pin and the 23 digit gift card number… it tells you right there. That would be really stupid if they were the only gift card (pretty much throughtout the world) that didn’t let you do it online.

Have you ever thought of posting more videos with your weblog articles to keep the visitors even more entertained? What i’m saying is I just went through the entire write-up and it was pretty excellent but because I’m a lot more of a visual learner, I found that way to be significantly more helpful. well, let me know what you feel.

I HAVE HAD SEVERAL PROBLEMS WITH MY HOME DEPOT IN BELLMEADE TEXAS.THE CLERK IN THE WASHER DRYER SECTION WAS SO RUDE I LEFTTHEY DID NOT TELL ME THE BOTTOM STAND SO I DID NOT HAVE THEM HAD TO GO BACK AND ORDER IST SET WERE DAMAGED HAD TO SEND BACK AND WAIT 3 WEEKS FOR NEXT DELIVERY.I WILL NEVER SPEND 1 CENT IN A HOME DEPOT STORE AGAIN.I CAN,T FIND OUT MY BALANCE WITHOUT DRIVING 20 MILES! NO THANKS TO HOME DEPOT THEY CAN KEEP THE BALANCE OR I WILL GIVE IT AWAY.HOME DEPOT WILL NOT BE AROUND LONG IF THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS THE WAY THEY HAVE TREATED ME, FORGET ANY MORE GIFT CARDS I WILL USE LOWES!!!!!!!!!!!

agree w/all of you – I will NEVER get someone this card – and will be sure to tell others DO NOT GET GIFT CARD FROM HOME DEPOT – it SUCKS!!

Called my local store–was told (in a very rude manner) that they could not check my gift card balances. I then called the 1-800 number and spoke with a nicer lady who told me that that is indeed true. Stores cannot give balances via phone. However, you can check your balance online via home depots website. I found it under the FAQ section under gift cards. It is actually quite easy once you have all the info. The lady on the phone told me that they do not have a 1-800 number on the back of the card because of security issues. Whatever…every other store does….

I too am extremely disapointed in Home Depot’s gift card policy. I will NEVER buy or ask for a gift card from HD. In fact I think this policy is enough to send me to Lowe’s in the future. Bad move HD! Listen to the people.
